Savannas are located north and south of tropical rain forests and have distinct wet seasons. Temperate grasslands get too little rainfall to support trees. Grasslands are dominated mostly by different types of grasses and flowering plants. Deserts are the driest biomes on Earth. Plants and animals found in each biome adapt to the environment in which they live. |
